BirthdayJAPAN staff:Honestly, what did you think when you first learned about the AxCROSS screen?

Twinkle Youth.th of Taehyun: I was surprised that a space with such a large screen existed indoors.

Also, it wasn't just a screen, but the space itself had a somewhat stylish feel to it, which was very refreshing.

The space was calm and the audience and atmosphere were good, so I was able to enjoy the show with peace of mind.

I visited for the purpose of advertising, but it was also fun to look at the various stores inside the building, and it was a place I would like to visit again.

A powerful broadcast and a “warm reaction” that enveloped the venue

BirthdayJAPAN staff: How did you feel when you saw the actual broadcast?

Twinkle Youth.th of Taehyun:I personally saw it both on-site and in videos posted on SNS.

It was very moving to be able to actually see what was being played on the powerful screen!

 

BirthdayJAPAN staff:What was the reaction from everyone at MOA?

Twinkle Youth.th of Taehyun:Many people at the scene were holding their smartphones and taking pictures while waiting anxiously for the moment when it would be broadcast.

The moment the video was played, there were happy voices, and it was impressive that the entire venue was enveloped in a warm atmosphere.

Also, some people were photographed with the official TOMORROW

Many people posted videos on social media, which allowed us to convey the atmosphere to fans who couldn't be there.

On a large 18m horizontal screen, we were able to project the trajectory of Taehyung's growth from his cute childhood to his current cool appearance as an adult.We received comments such as ``It made me feel happy'' and ``I was moved.''We feel that this project will remain in everyone's hearts.

BirthdayJAPAN staff:How did you like the large horizontal screen?

Twinkle Youth.th of Taehyun: I was particularly impressed by the way Oshi's growth progress unfolds from the end of the long screen.

This image was only possible on that big screen, and as I said earlier, it was very well received by those who came to see it.

Initially, we were thinking of broadcasting multiple videos of a standard size (16:9, etc.) side by side, but since there are very few opportunities to broadcast videos with a length of 18 meters, we hastily changed the configuration to take advantage of the width.

The difficult part was collecting video materials.

First, we decided on the direction of the video, and each of us brought in a video based on that theme, but only a few seconds of the video could actually be used.

For this reason, a large amount of original video was required, and I felt that extracting the relevant parts from that was particularly difficult.

Also, many softwares do not support a width of 8,950px when exporting, and although I eventually solved the problem by using Adobe Premiere, I felt that it might be a hurdle for some people.

BirthdayJAPAN staff:Did you have any concerns or hesitations before deciding to implement it?

Twinkle Youth.th of Taehyun:The screen is large and quite long, so

“I wonder what it looks like.”

I was worried about this, but I didn't have any hesitation because I was happy to be able to do it in as many places as possible.

 

BirthdayJAPAN staff:What made you finally decide to do it?

Twinkle Youth.th of Taehyun:I think the deciding factor is the location.

When running promotional ads, it's important to get as many people as possible to see them, so I thought, ``No matter how big the screen is, it wouldn't make much sense to do it in a place where it's difficult to get to.''

On that point, the AxCROSS screen is located inside the shopping mall "KITTE Osaka", which is directly connected to Osaka Station, so it was very nice!

Twinkle Youth.th of Taehyun: First of all, I felt a great sense of relief that we could broadcast it at KITTE Osaka.

I think it was good that the location was close to Osaka Station and Umeda Station, making it easy to access.

In addition to being able to stream images on a large, horizontal screen, I also liked that there was a glass partition in front of the monitor so I could wait there.

Since there were no people passing in front of me, I was able to take pictures of only the monitor, and I was able to record images without having to worry about reflections.

 

On the other hand,If possible, I would have liked to be able to play music with sound, and the area around the monitor seemed a little dim, so I feel like it would be easier for people passing by to see if it was a little brighter.

Also, rather than just stopping by by chance, I felt that it was a little difficult to get there without prior information that ``the music is playing here''.

However, I think the good thing about it was that it felt like a MOA-only space.

Also, I was told in advance that the frequency is 10 times an hour and once every 6 minutes, but I think it would have been better if there was information about the minute and second of each hour.

However, it was very refreshing to have a space just for viewing advertisements.

I also think the biggest advantage is that the location is good and you don't have to go far just to see advertisements.

Unlike normal advertisements, it is quite wide, so it was difficult at times, but I also had a lot of fun and dreamed of what it would be like to have such a wide width.

In fact, I was able to create a video that couldn't be made with a normal advertisement, and it turned out to be something very special, so I'm very happy with it!
