Senil JAPAN Staff: Since when did you become a fan of Dahyun?
Lin: TWICE was a group that debuted in 2015, and the first thing they started to pay attention to was that TWICE was a member.
After that, I started watching Korean variety shows and learned about Dahyun.
It was during "What is Love?" that I finally got hooked on it in earnest.
Senil JAPAN Staff: What was your attraction to Dahyun?
Lin: In 2018, when I graduated from high school and went to Korea to visit, it coincided with Tzuyu's birthday, so I went to give him the card.
That day, I decided to start my full-scale career.
Around that time, when "What is Love?" was released, I was really drawn to the overall atmosphere of the song.
Also, Da Hyun's variety skills are very high, and her reactions are unique and interesting, which I think is what makes her a big attraction.
Senil JAPAN Staff: Dahyun is truly a very attractive person.
What other things do you think are attractive?
Lin: I think it's a bit of a difference after all!
He's very cheerful and energetic in front of everyone, but in his private life he's very quiet.
Also, he takes his fans really seriously and is extremely kind.
Senil JAPAN Staff: Are there any specific episodes?
Lin: I have participated in concerts held in Japan and the United States.
Dahyun spoke in Japanese in Japan, Indonesian in Indonesian, and in the US English in English.
I could tell that he was trying hard to remember and spoke, even though he wasn't very good at English.
What's more, it's so funny, and before I say a message to the fans, I hear him scream something in the microphone and tell me, "Oh, I'm checking what I just learned."
I could really feel Dahyun's sincere feelings for his fans as he tried to memorize and speak the language of the country for his fans.

Senil JAPAN Staff: What kind of communication and activities does Rin do?
Lin: My birthday in 2023 was primarily intended to raise funds together, and at that time I was posting images on Instagram.
In 2022, we also posted an advertisement in Times Square in New York, and when we did that, we often posted announcements on X and attracted fans who would participate.
Senil JAPAN Staff: Was the Times Square adverts hosted by Rin?
Lin: I was the only one host at that time.
But actually, it's not that difficult to advertise in Times Square in New York.
Anyone can download the dedicated app, order from there, pass the video screening, and advertise.
It was a real idea at the time, and a few days before my birthday I thought, "I want to do this!", so within those days I edited the video and applied for an ad.
As for the funds, I first made up my own money and then later recruited fans who I would like to support on social media.
Support activities began with the spread of advertising voting projects. The trigger was the desire to "want more people to know about it."
Senil JAPAN Staff:What other activities are you doing?
Lin: Three or four years ago, I once posted an MRT (subway) lightbox ad in Taiwan.
In fact, I often get told, "After seeing your videos and introductions, I became interested in this idol. Before I knew it, I had become a fan," and I felt that it had quite a promotional effect.
That's why I'm also continuing to promote myself on social media.
Senil JAPAN Staff: I'm happy to see such a reaction.
What was the trigger for you to start your current activities?
Lin: At that time, I often retweeted information about voting events held by Korean advertising companies.
The system was designed to allow idols with a large number of votes to be posted for free, so we were urging everyone to participate actively.
Of course, such activities have a certain effect, but I believe that there is also another influence that can be created by communicating from the perspective of a fan.
My main purpose is to make sure that more people know about my favorites.
Senil JAPAN Staff: When did you start your activities?
Lin: Since around 2018, I have been seeing continuous support activities for the members of the group,
I started to feel like I wanted to try it myself.

Senil JAPAN Staff:Is there anything you're glad you've put up with your favourite ads?
Lin: I think Dahyun is an idol who will give a strong reaction to her fans.
When I put up an ad for her ad a few years ago, it seems that it hadn't arrived yet, but when I put up an ad at a bus stop near my agency in Korea in May 2024, she posted an authenticated shot of her actually taken in front of it on social media.

I have not done this before to have my favourite ads "see" to the person who posted a favourite, but when I see Dahyun responding properly later and trying to participate in the ads, I feel like, "Oh, I'm glad I did it."
If Dahyun is happy, we as our fans will be very happy and we will feel like we should try harder.

Lin: Yes, Dahyun actually came to the cafe that day.
First I ordered a coffee and signed the organizer, and it seemed like they were aware of me, and they also signed me specifically for me, who were not the organizer.
After that, the fans naturally started to line up and they signed each and every one of them on the spot, creating a very warm atmosphere.

Senil JAPAN Staff:Are there any favourite or memorable ads you have posted so far?
Lin: The one that really left an impression on me is the New York Times Square ad.
At the time, Dahyun was an ambassador for high-end brands and often participated in New York Fashion Week.
Although he was not in New York during that period, that ad made Da Hyun the first of his members to post personal ads in Times Square.

Lin: For example, when posting ads through crowdfunding, it is necessary to continuously check your income and expenditures and report progress to fans, which is a bit complicated and time-consuming.
Plus, I also edit my own advertising images and videos, so overall it's really going to be a lot of time.

Lin: In the past, it seems that ads were common through crowdfunding, but recently there may be more and more tendency to post them yourself.
This will eliminate complicated procedures such as collecting funds.
When it comes to crowdfunding, I think we are increasingly inviting people we know or interested in to do it together.

Lin: I think it's increasing rapidly.
The targets of support include Taiwan, Korea, China, and Japanese celebrities.
Senil JAPAN Staff:BirthdayWhen posting an ad, which cities in Taiwan are most popular?
Lin: It's Taipei. Taipei's MRT (subway), buses, outdoor visions and cafes are especially popular.
The next thing I want to try is the cafe exhibition! The criteria for selecting advertisements are "target group" and "visibility"
Senil JAPAN Staff: When choosing an ad, are there any criteria you use as your criteria?
Lin: Selecting is primarily based on the location where the target audience for your ads is.
For example, Kamikan Station is popular because it is an area where many young people gather, and advertising fees are relatively low.
On the other hand, many people choose places like Taipei 101, but the prices aren't that cheap.
After publishing an ad at Times Square in New York, I felt that it didn't have as much effect as I expected, so I'm planning to place more importance in the future.
For example, in Korea, it is easy for idols to see and participate and respond easily.
Senil JAPAN Staff: Are there any favourite ads you would like to try in the future?
Lin: I'm planning to hold an exhibition event at the cafe in the next 2-3 years, and I'd like to have it in a way that allows fans to purchase photos on the wall.
