Frequently asked questions about trafficked data
About size
Q [Still image] I think the size is correct, but someone pointed out that the size is different.
Is it created in mm notation instead of px notation? If data is created in px notation, the size will be small and the image quality will be poor. Please see below for the correct B0/B1 size.
- ●B1 poster (vertical)
- [Print range] Width 734 x Height 1036mm
- [Actual visible range] Width 728 x Height 1030mm
- ●B0 poster (horizontal)
- [Print range] Width 1462 x Height 1036mm
- [Actual visible range] Width 1456 x height 1030mm
Q [Still image] I set the correct size in mm, but someone pointed out that the size was different.
When exporting (downloading), are you exporting (downloading) with the minimum file size? Even if the size is correct in the data being created, if you export with a small file size when exporting, the quality of the exported image data will be rough. We recommend Ai/Psd data format for submission data.
[For Canva]
- ・Save as PDF (print)
- - Check PDF flattening
- ・Set the color profile to CMYK
- ・Download
Q [Video] I was setting the size using the correct px notation, but someone pointed out that the size was different.
When exporting (downloading), are you exporting (downloading) with the minimum file size? Even if the size is correct in the data being created, if you export with a small file size when exporting, the quality of the exported image data will be rough.
Q [Video]BirthdayCould JAPAN adjust the size?
If the video data is larger than the submission specifications and created with the same ratio, we can adjust it to the size of the submission specifications. On the other hand, if the size is smaller than the submission specifications, the image quality will deteriorate when enlarged, so we recommend adjusting the original data. Please also note that we are unable to make adjustments if the ratios are different.
About resolution/image quality
Q [Still images] The resolution is said to be 100 to 200 dpi, but which value should I specifically set?
For large-sized prints such as posters, 100 to 200 dpi is considered sufficient. There is no problem if it is within this range, but if you are concerned, please create at 200dpi.
Q [Still images] Will the image quality improve if I increase the resolution?
For large-sized prints such as posters, 100 to 200 dpi is considered sufficient. If the resolution is higher than this, the amount of data will increase and it may easily lead to printing errors, so please create it at 100 to 200 dpi. Also, even if you increase the resolution, the image quality will hardly change.
Q What can I do to improve the image quality?
If you are using an image that is originally of poor quality, you cannot improve the quality any further. Check the quality of your images before placing them in your design.
Q BirthdayJAPAN, could you please improve the image quality?
If you are using an image with a rough original image quality, we cannot improve the image quality any further, so we will not be able to help you. When placing images in your design, please use data whose image quality is not inherently rough.
About color mode
Q [Still image] When I looked at the adjustment data, the colors were dull.
The color mode of printed matter must be CMYK; printing in RGB is not possible. Even if you submit it in RGB, we will convert it to CMYK, so please create it in CMYK from the time of creation.
About the production app
Q I created it using an app other than Canva, but I don't know how to export it.
We recommend creating with Ai/Psd/Canva. Please note that we cannot answer any questions regarding other production apps.
Others
Q [Still image] I received a request to modify the design data.Which data is the request for, the review data or the submission data?
The design data you submitted will be visually checked by the data checker to ensure it is ready for submission. Therefore, please make corrections to the submission data and send us Ai/Psd data or corrected data exported using the correct method.
Q I passed the test using the "Osho Advertising Design AI Self-Checker", but I received a request for a correction.
Before submitting your design data via the form, we ask you to conduct a design check using the "Osho Advertising Design AI Self-Checker", but as the decision is made using AI, there may be cases where a misjudgment is made. When you submit your design data via the form, our design checker will visually check it. Therefore, we would appreciate it if you could respond to the correction request from the design checker.
Q Who should I submit the revised data to?
We would appreciate it if you could send the corrected data to LINE via Giga File Mail or Google Drive link. If you send the form again, the data will be duplicated, so please be sure to send the corrected data to LINE.
Q Items that were OK when posted last time were said to need modification this time. Why?
Depending on the judgment of the media company, some items that were previously approved may be rejected. We would appreciate your understanding, especially regarding transportation advertisements, as the rules on the railway side are becoming stricter year by year.
